Kenya’s youth face serious challenges, including unemployment, drug abuse, teenage pregnancies, and rising mental health struggles. Schools provide a vital opportunity to shape values and equip young people with the tools to thrive.

In 2024, African Enterprise Kenya is running the Foxfire Student Wellbeing & Life Skills Project across 12 schools in Nairobi. The program trains 24 mentors and life skills facilitators to lead weekly sessions with 10,000 students, covering topics such as leadership, integrity, relationships, resilience, and mental wellbeing.

Through mentorship, drama, music, and group discussions, students gain life skills, psychosocial support, and a positive vision for their future, equipping them to become change agents in their schools and communities.
