As enrolment continues to rise across Rwanda, schools are welcoming more students than ever before. However, many lack the classrooms and essential facilities needed to support this growth, particularly safe, private hygiene rooms for girls. Without these spaces, overcrowding affects learning quality, and many girls find it difficult to attend school consistently when managing personal health needs.
The Centre for Champions Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CFC) school in Rwamagana District is one of many striving to meet the increasing demands of its students. The school currently faces major shortages in furnished classrooms and does not have a secure, dignified hygiene room where girls can manage their personal needs safely and confidently. This project will address these challenges.

- A safe and equipped hygiene room for girls, offering dignity and privacy during menstruation
- Improved access to gender‑responsive education, boosting attendance, retention and general wellbeing
