Preparation begins over a year in advance for each mission and includes getting churches involved, selecting and training local evangelists, mission volunteers and counselors. Leaders are also in communication and work with local authorities for logistical and planning reasons. This is a prayerful process requiring evangelical unity and the urgency to share gospel.

The Proclamation phase is the 7-10 days where African Enterprise evangelists, local Christians and partnering churches bring the Gospel to a city through well-coordinated and planned evangelistic events; from the informal traders on the streets, the homeless, doctors, business people, prisons, farmers right through to the president and various government forums.
