“Nyawonhle”, which translated from iZulu means “beautiful feet”, is inspired by the word of God.

Operating in several townships in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, this community project aims to equip men with skills in shoe repair. They train under AE facilitator Allan Paul, who has worked in the shoe repair industry for over 20 years. The project also provides basic business skills for these men to go on and start their own small businesses. AE South Africa also provide the students with a starter pack so that they can continue to learn and progress. We hope to reach 80 men with our training course in 2025, and would be so grateful for your support.
