In 2024, African Enterprise DRC is equipping vulnerable young women in Kinshasa with practical skills in sewing and beauty. Many of the participants are single mothers or girls who were unable to finish school and face deep poverty, exploitation, and hopelessness.
Through a year-long program, women receive vocational training, life skills, reproductive health education, and discipleship. Graduates are equipped to start their own small businesses with sewing machines or salon tools, enabling them to support their families and build sustainable futures.
This project not only provides income-generating skills but also restores dignity, confidence, and hope, empowering young women to become positive role models in their communities.
