Official estimates claim roughly 2.4 million people living in rural Malawi are without access to a safe water source, but the actual number may be twice as high – largely due to increasingly non-functional water points and a rapidly growing population.

Movement Day Africa 2018 has brought together approximately 500 church and marketplace ministry leaders. It has been an exciting time of fellowship and rallying together to strategise effective impact of the gospel throughout African cities.

Elijah Karachi grew up in a polygamous family in which his father had five wives. “We never had much attention from our parents because there were so many of us,” Elijah recalled. “We went to church sometimes but we weren’t committed members. I remember hearing the message of Jesus but it never really mattered to me.”
