“This semester has been wonderful in terms of my studies. I enjoyed missiology and the best book I read was “Transforming mission” written by Bosch. Where I come to understand that the mission of God is ultimately an activity of God himself in which God became flesh (John 1:14) to redeem the whole creation through the sacrificial work of Christ on the cross in order to reconcile people of all nations to God and be his children forever. Bosch recognized that “It is not the church that has a mission but it is the mission of the Son and the Spirit through the Father which includes the church”.

“My favourite modules for the last module are Ethics, preaching, and ministry. In ethic I am able to deal with real-life situations from a Christian perspective. Preaching has equipped me to be a better speaker of the word and how to communicate with the audience and how to deliver good talks. Ministry helped me on how to handle different groups example kids, youth women and the church in general and also how to do a good bible study.
I have been involved in mission week in June holiday and we had a kid’s club and bible studies We enjoyed reading Piper’s book “knowing God” with the university students who are the majority of that church. We also had bible studies with the students and the pastors in the pastor’s house and sharing a meal together which was a very good moment where we shared life experiences. I am currently feeling more holistically grown and I thank God for that.”
